At one time a fearsome, rather unpleasant rock golem, Prism Break found himself the victim of a cave-in, leaving him buried for 100 years. Upon being freed from his earthly prison by a mining expedition, he "flipped" his ways, and became a loyal protector of both the Mabu Tribe (his rescuers) and the Skylands.
While entombed underground, Prism Break underwent changes, both physically and emotionally. His once primitive rocky arms metamorphed into powerful crystal gems, while his once-fierce demeanor went from being a solitary "grouch" to one of Skyland's most trusted and dependable soldiers.
His unique ability to emit and direct beams of energy at his attackers makes him a foe that enemies avoid at all costs. In addition, Prism Break can summon up crystals to explode out of the ground, finishing off any opponents that somehow survive his initial barrage.
