Much like her fellow Skylander Cynder, the dark elf necromancer Hex approaches everything with a marked no-nonsense attitude. Also similarly to Cynder, Hex is not unfamiliar with the forces of evil that inhabit the Darkness, and her history includes some legendary encounters with Malefor, the Undead Dragon King.
As her name implies, Hex is a skilled practitioner in the art of dark magic, and summoning up spells upon her opponents is her specialty. Hex can also conjure up large skulls to assault hapless enemies from the sky, while surrounding herself with impenetrable bone barriers as a shield to protect her as she delivers her "justice."
Despite suspicions that she leans towards the "dark side" by many of her counterparts, Hex has the unquestioned trust of Eon, a respected Portal Master.
